MY SON

My son Mitchell is awesome! I drove down to Charleston despite Family Weekend being cancelled. I just could not leave him there alone with the threat of a hurrican looming. We hung out in the rain on Friday, did some shopping, and eating. Then went to a movie Friday night. Saturday, I woke up to learn that they were not allowing people onto the penisula which is where Mitchell is. I was across the bridge in Mount Pleasant. So, my kid hopped on his new bike and rode the 4.8 miles, through the pelting rain and win to see his mom!

Here he comes!

He was soaking wet! So, after I put his clothes in the dryer, we headed out into the rain to eat and find him a new backpack for his birthday. His pretty blue coat was also his birthday present.

While driving along, Mitchell was taking photos and spotted a young kid surf  skating in the flooded grass.

Crazy weather!
