RECITALS AND GINGERBREAD HOUSES

Vinny performed in her first solo recital this month. We are not sure how her teacher was able to pursuade her to play. She picked an easy song and practiced it a few times. She was too busy with Region auditions and All State. For the spring recital, she promises a more challenging piece. Here is a video of her performance.

After the recital, we went out to dinner. Patrick and I shared this yummy roasted Marshmellow Chocolate martini. Dessert in a cup!

Last week, we decorated Gingerbread houses to take the kids brains off from the impending finals. First up with Vinny and Lucas.

First, they painted a new Advent Calendar.

We finally used a hot glue gun to hold them together. It works as long as you don't plan on eating the house.
