LAST MINUTE

We could not make plans for spring break due to lacrosse playoffs. Mitchell's team found out on the Monday of break that they did not make it into the playoffs. Vinny's team did. They played on Tuesday night against the team that would go on to win the state championship. I told Vinny if they lost, I would take her to Charleston where Lucas and his family was. They were there to run the Cooper River Bridge Marathon. Then Mitchell felt left out so I found the cheapest hotel I could find. As predicted, Vinny's team lost on Tuesday. We left on Wednesday and our first stop was Isle of Palms where the Morands were staying. It was a little chilly but that did not stop Mitchell, his friend Corey and Mom from hitting the beach after dropping Vinny off.
