WHO KNEW

Those of you who know Patrick know that he has a beautiful voice. He has been singing since he was in 5th grade at the Madeleine Choir School and was in the High Choir for three years.  Patrick has continued singing, he sang in the choir at Wasatch Junior High and now at Dorman High School.

Mitchell has always loved to sing and in the second week of school was selected to be in the Honors Choir at Roebuck Elementary.  On December 1st the Choir along with the Music Vision students sang for the Santa's Breakfast.  The day before, the music teacher told Mitchell that she had selected him to sing a solo in the concert.  He was thrilled. He came home and started to practice and sang all evening and I even heard him singing in his sleep.

The next morning Patrick and I asked the teacher where we should sit to best here his solo and she said that she had changed her mind and had canceled the solo.  I was shocked and could not speak. Patrick told her that she could not do that to his brother. He would be devastated.  He said that he had practiced so hard and he deserved this solo.  She said that she would go ahead and give it a try.  Here is a photo of the group.

I really tried to put the video of his solo up but could not figure out how to so you are just going to have to trust me that he actually did sing.  Someday we may figure it out and then I will force you to watch it.
