Around December 13, the kids came running in the house screaming about a meteor shower. Now, I had just had my MS treatment the day before so the last thing I wanted to do was go outside and look at a few falling stars. The kids seemed pretty excited so Charlie and I went outside to see what was up, so to speak. Well, fortunately, we live in the country, and the sky is very dark and we what we saw were not just your ordinary falling stars. No, these were actual meteors! They were a little scary at first because they were quite big and there were so many coming one right after the other which I guess is why they call it a "meteor shower". After a few minutes my fear went away and I started to enjoy the show despite my pounding headache. Below are a couple of photos Charlie took of the kids laying on our lawn enjoying the show.
